Penguin Chick

My first ever purchase in PUPA

I'm not sure why I've bought exactly an eyeliner as a first thing in Pupa..... they had so many eye-shadows, lipsticks or nail polishes in their beautifully decorated shop, but I thought the eyeliner would be a nice start :). I went for a neutral brown colour in no. 19.

I was very surprised with the quality of this eyeliner, it so creamy and soft, blends very easily and the pigmentation is amazing. It's often being compared to the Urban Decay 24/7 glide-on eye pencil and I can only confirm that it's definitely as good as the Urban Decay one, but for less money ;)

I can't wait to try other Pupa products x

soft blending tool on the opposite end of the pencil for smudging

it must be sharpen quite often as it's very soft

Sorry for not listing all the make up products I used for this look, but honestly - I don't remember :( But I definitely know that I've used my new Pupa pencil!

My Dior Story with a happy end

Today I want to share with you my very positive experience with Dior I've had recently. Let's start with a purchase of my long time wanted Dior perfume - Miss Dior Chérie. Every time I went around the Dior counter I sprayed it on my wrist and loved it. As my birthday was coming closer I knew what present I was getting - my husband bought it for me at the Duty-free shop. I wore it couple of times and realized that it smells somehow different than the one I tried so many times in the shop. The fact it didn't last long enough on my skin was also a big disappointment. Normally when you wear a new perfume you can smell it constantly on your skin for the first few days - but Chérie wasn't the case. Then I've googled it and found out that Dior changed a formula of this perfume and I'd got this new edition.

I've contacted the Dior customer services and explained what the problem was and that I'm not happy with my new Chérie at all :( They have kindly offered me that I can send the perfume back to their main office in France (for examination) and choose another product in the same value. I got sooo excited...... but I didn't want to get a perfume again so I went for 5 Couleurs and Poudre Shimmer (even though I really wanted Diorskin Nude Glow, but unfortunately it was unavailable).
I was dealing with lovely ladies (Stéphanie, Nadjaah, Aliya) who ensured the parcel was delivered to me even after two unsuccessful attempts. I'm very pleased with the customer service I received from them!

Ok that's enough of writing, let's have a look at the products:

I've picked the eyeshadows - 5 Couleurs in 754 Rose Tan and highlighter Poudre Shimmer in 002 Amber Diamond

Both products are amazing quality and I feel so special when using them because even the packaging on it's own is very pretty.

The colours in the eyeshadow palette are great for creating nude, everyday eyes. I like to apply the colour in the middle to my inner corner (I'll do a FOTD post using this lovely palette soon.)

There are already too many reviews on the Poudre Shimmer highlighter, but anyway I still want to mention that this product is sooooo great... you have to try yourself to understand what I mean :) It gives just the perfect glow to your cheekbones - bright but not too glittery.

NYX Round Lipstick swatches - Paris and Tea Rose

Recently I've had a big dilemma when I was deciding what NYX lipstick colour to buy. It's difficult to choose from about 70 colours, when the shades on the website might look completely different on your lips. I've spent hours searching beauty blogs for some good swatches. At the end I've picked 2 shades - Paris and Tea Rose. I'm not sure which one I prefer the most. I know they might look very similar, but Paris is more pinker and Tea Rose is more browner or I'd say it has a salmon colour on me. Both lipsticks are very pigmented, matte colours with no shimmer and they have creamy formulation.

....and now I've decided to help someone else with mine swatches:
