Little bit of my China Glaze Anchor Collection

Hello my dear readers!  Hope you are having a great week so far.

I know that there are already about million swatches of this collection on other blogs, but I wanted to add my bit anyway:) I bought one full size bottle of Sea Spray and 4 miniatures - Ahoy!, First Mate, Life Preserver and White Cap. I haven't originally planned to buy the miniatures, but when I saw their size vs price(9.6 ml each for about £7 for all of them) I couldn't resist! And I definitely don't regret buying them because I'm in love with Ahoy! - swatches to follow in my next post :)

I've decided to try Sea Spray as first of all of them:
  • 2 coats of Sea Spray
  • Bundle Monster plate no. BM20
  • stamped with First Mate
  • Seche Vite top coat

Left to right: Life Preserver, Ahoy!, First Mate, White Cap

NOTD with NYC and ORLY

My gorgeous husband knows how much I love nail polishes so he got me 4 NYC nail polishes from his colleague who was selling them for about 50p each.... he wanted to make me happy with this great deal... bless him :) One of them was Plaza Plumberry - very dark brown burgundy almost black color.
I stamped it with Orly - Everything's Rosy and a Bundle Monster Plate no. BM10. I was very pleased with the final effect :)

My Saturday nails with a nail polish from Asda!

I didn't know that Asda have their own cosmetics range until now! I picked up this blueish-lilac nail polish called Ultra Violet as I really liked it's color in a bottle. When I applied it, I wasn't very keen for it. Therefore I used it with 1 coat of Barry M Grey underneath and Instant Nail Effect on the top together with 1 coat of Seche Vite. The result was great and I was finally happy :)

The 2 pictures below are showing the real color of this polish. I used the following:
  •  2 coats of George - Ultra Violet
  • Konad plate no. M45
  • Konad Special Black Nail Polish
  • Seche Vite top coat
To be honest I don't really like the final result (and my index finger nail is terribly short)... I've put these pictures up just to show the real shade without any base coat :)

NOTD - Mr. and Mrs. by China Glaze

When I first time applied this nail polish I didn't like it at all because it was too sheer and as you might know I'm a big fan of opaque polishes. Then I applied some white tips and it changed the whole look completely. I love it now! It's perfect for french manicure with light purple/pinky undertone.
  •  Nail Tek base coat - Foundation II
  • 2 coats of Gina Glaze - Mr. & Mrs.
  • Konad Special Nail Polish in White
  • Bundle Monster plate no. BM11
  • Seche Vite top coat

And 2 pictures with different white tips using a Konad plate no. M62. Sorry for not taking closer pictures but I was too lazy to clean after konading and I hope it's not too visible from this distance :)
