Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick

Matné pery sú in už dlhšiu dobu a ja som konečne objavila ten správny matný rúž, ktorý pery nevysušuje. A mal úplnú pravdu. Čo sa týka farebných odtieňov, tak ma najviac upútal č.10 - Don't pink of if a č. 14 - Plum Plum Girl, no prijala by som trochu väčší výber nude odtieňov.

New In - Catrice

Po prvých dvoch nechtoch som to vzdala a musela som použiť štetec z iného laku, aby som si nechty mohla dolakovať.

Rita Ora for Rimmel or another NOTD

Products used:
Rimmel - Lose Your Lingerie
Rimmel - Breakfast In Bed
Sally Hansen - White On
Nubar - Diamont Seal and Shine Top Coat

My Dior Story with a happy end

Today I want to share with you my very positive experience with Dior I've had recently. Let's start with a purchase of my long time wanted Dior perfume - Miss Dior Chérie. Every time I went around the Dior counter I sprayed it on my wrist and loved it. As my birthday was coming closer I knew what present I was getting - my husband bought it for me at the Duty-free shop. I wore it couple of times and realized that it smells somehow different than the one I tried so many times in the shop. The fact it didn't last long enough on my skin was also a big disappointment. Normally when you wear a new perfume you can smell it constantly on your skin for the first few days - but Chérie wasn't the case. Then I've googled it and found out that Dior changed a formula of this perfume and I'd got this new edition.

I've contacted the Dior customer services and explained what the problem was and that I'm not happy with my new Chérie at all :( They have kindly offered me that I can send the perfume back to their main office in France (for examination) and choose another product in the same value. I got sooo excited...... but I didn't want to get a perfume again so I went for 5 Couleurs and Poudre Shimmer (even though I really wanted Diorskin Nude Glow, but unfortunately it was unavailable).
I was dealing with lovely ladies (Stéphanie, Nadjaah, Aliya) who ensured the parcel was delivered to me even after two unsuccessful attempts. I'm very pleased with the customer service I received from them!

Ok that's enough of writing, let's have a look at the products:

I've picked the eyeshadows - 5 Couleurs in 754 Rose Tan and highlighter Poudre Shimmer in 002 Amber Diamond

Both products are amazing quality and I feel so special when using them because even the packaging on it's own is very pretty.

The colours in the eyeshadow palette are great for creating nude, everyday eyes. I like to apply the colour in the middle to my inner corner (I'll do a FOTD post using this lovely palette soon.)

There are already too many reviews on the Poudre Shimmer highlighter, but anyway I still want to mention that this product is sooooo great... you have to try yourself to understand what I mean :) It gives just the perfect glow to your cheekbones - bright but not too glittery.

Sigma E25 brush review

Sigma has very kindly send me their E25 blending brush in a travel size for a review. On the Sigma website this brush is described as:

Oval-shaped brush with gently chiseled sides. Blends and softens the look of powder or cream shadows. Ideal to apply eye shadow primer, base eye shadow colors, and blend harsh lines.

And I completely agree with them. This brush is ideal for blending either cream or powder eyeshadow into your crease and you can also use it for applying eyeshadow all over your lid or above your crease. It's basically multi purpose and the final effect is always perfect!

And here is a short demo how I used this brush. I went for a bright green look.

I applied a green cream base from the Sleek i-DIVINE Primer Palette

Then I took my Sigma blending brush and blended the harsh edges as follows:

Nicely blended edges:

Then I applied Barry M Duzzle Dust no. 72 - Emerald

And blended again:

To finish the look I applied Urban Decay Half Baked above my crease, Mac Vanilla in my inner corners, Barry M Duzzle Dust no. 44 - Bronze at the bottom inner lash line, Mac Blacktrack fluidline as an eyeliner and Maybelline Define-A-Lash Volume Mascara.

If I had to choose only one brush from my collection it'd definitely be the blending brush!

Lush Haul

I can't believe that I discovered Lush just now (after 5 1/2 years living in the UK!) I've read about it now and then on some blogs but never actually went to the shop.....until Saturday.... lots of blogers were raving about it so I thought I check it out :)
These goodies caught my eyes so I picked them up (and I love them all already):
  • Rub Rub Rub
  • Ocean Salt
  • Bubble Gum
  • Big Blue
  • Stepping Stone
  • Karma
All Lush products are organic, not tested on animals and smell amazing! They are fresh handmade and individually labeled with a cute little sticker of use by date and picture of person who made the product.
Karma Bubble Bar - it's fragrance is described as orange, patchouli and lemongrass.... you simply crumble it under the water whilst the taps are running and it creates an amazing froth and makes the water sooooo smooth :) love it!
Stepping Stone Foot Scrub - contains pumice and sea salt, smells citrusy.... good exfoliator for my dry feet..
Karma Bubble Bar & Stepping Stone Foot Scrub
Big Blue Bath Bomb - I haven't tried it yet, but it's that kind of thing you drop in the water and it frizzes away... it contains seaweed, lemon and lavender oil... I'm so excited to try it out! I'll probably cut it in half as it's quite big and use it twice :)
Big Blue Bath Bomb
Ocean Salt - scrubby ocean cocktail :) I've already used it twice and my skin was never so soft.... it's very salty, you can even taste it on your lips :) it also contains vodka infused limes (couldn't taste any vodka though (: ) and avocado butter.... they recommend to use it daily if your skin is oily (like mine is), but I stick with twice a week...:)
Ocean Salt
Rub Rub Rub - shower scrub - I also used it twice and it's just gorgeous... makes your body so clean and smooth.... it contains sea salt but not in such a big chunks as Ocean Salt... it's got more like gel consistency.... I'd definitely recommend this one :)
Rub Rub Rub
...and last but not least....
Bubble Gum - lips scrub - smells and taste like sweet candies... removes all dead skin from your lips... and the best part is that once you use it you can lick it from your lips :) yummy:)
